The Tour DoonHame
Welcome to the home page of The Tour DoonHame, a cycle road race taking place in Dumfries & Galloway on Easter weekend.
Competitors tackle a 200+ mile course in three daily stages.
The 2010 race attracted a field over 120 riders from throughout the UK and beyond.

The race takes the riders on a scenic route passing through many of the more remote towns and villages, allowing as many spectators as possible to see some of Britain’s finest bike riders.
ScottishPower Renewables is the core sponsor of The Tour DoonHame.
The company also supports Scottish Cycling with funding that has assisted in the growth of youth cycling through events and initiatives across the country including the SuP6R Six, Youth Circuit, Criterium Series and Regional Schools of Racing.
ScottishPower Renewables has a strong presence in Dumfries & Galloway with several wind farms in operation or under construction, nicely complimenting parent company ScottishPower's Galloway Hydro Scheme, which has been producing 'green power' since 1935.
Dumfries Welcomes the Tour DoonHame Dumfries & Galloway Council is one of the financial backers of the event. Councillor Ian Carruthers said, "On behalf of Dumfries and Galloway Council I would like to welcome the Tour DoonHame to our region. The Council has worked closely with Scottish Cycling and Wallacehill Events to assist with the planning of this exciting stage race, and we are proud that Dumfries will now be the base for an Elite Calendar cycling event."
